Organization

The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1980 to honor Chautauqua County, New York area sports celebrities.

The CSHOF is an all-volunteer group governed by a thirty-member Board of Directors elected annually.

Nominations for induction are continually accepted and reviewed by the Board of Directors. Information on the nomination criteria and the process is available on the website.

The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame welcomes new members and encourages them to be involved. A copy of the by-laws is available to assist those interested in understanding how the organization functions.

2023 CSHOF Inductees Announced

The Board of Directors of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce the inductees who will comprise the Class of 2023.

The inductees are Bob Barlette, Sheldon Battle, Kirsten Green, David Hinson, Frank Jagoda II, Bruce Johnson, Scott Kindberg, Fred Larson, Marty Nichols, Jay Sirianni and Amy (King) Swanson.

These eleven individuals will be formally inducted at the CSHOF’s annual Induction Banquet on Presidents’ Day, February 20, 2023. Tickets are available by calling Chip Johnson at 716-485-6991 or at the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, 15 W. 3rd Street, Jamestown or online using the button below.

The Class of 2023 will be the 41st group inducted into the CSHOF since its inception in 1981. The new honorees will bring the total number of CSHOF inductees to 231.
