Organization
The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1980 to honor Chautauqua County, New York area sports celebrities.
The CSHOF is an all-volunteer group governed by a thirty-member Board of Directors elected annually.
Nominations for induction are continually accepted and reviewed by the Board of Directors. Information on the nomination criteria and the process is available on the website.
The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame welcomes new members and encourages them to be involved. A copy of the by-laws is available to assist those interested in understanding how the organization functions.

Awards Banquet


The Board of Directors of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame is proud to welcome the inductees of the Class of 2021.
Newest Hall of Famers are the late George Barone, the late Harry Carlson, the late Larry Rodgers, the late Richard Shearman, Randy Anderson, Sarah (Bogardus) Burnett, Andrew Creager, Christina Kebort, Lewis Mack, Michael Sirianni, and Marc Tramuta.
These eleven individuals will be formally inducted at the CSHOF’s 40th Annual Banquet at a time to be determined when New York State permits gatherings of the size we require. In addition, outstanding local high school, collegiate and community athletes will be recognized and CSHOF Legacy Awards will be presented at that time.

The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame maintains an Exhibit Hall in downtown Jamestown.
