The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1980 to honor Chautauqua County, New York area sports celebrities.
The CSHOF is an all-volunteer group governed by a thirty-member Board of Directors elected annually.
Nominations for induction are continually accepted and reviewed by the Board of Directors. Information on the nomination criteria and the process is available on the website.
The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame welcomes new members and encourages them to be involved. A copy of the by-laws is available to assist those interested in understanding how the organization functions.
The Board of Directors of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce the inductees of the Class of 2020.
The living inductees are Bob Goold, Chris (Carlson) Jenkins, Justin Johnson, Tim Nobles, Elly Norton, Mark Orlando and Mike Tramuta. The deceased honorees are George Bataitis and Bob Bender.
These nine will be formally inducted at the CSHOF’s 39th Annual Banquet, Monday, February 17, 2020, at the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. The new honorees will bring the total number of CSHOF inductees to 209.
Tickets for the induction dinner are priced at $50. Banquet reservations can be made by calling chairman Chip Johnson at 716-485-6991.
The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame maintains an Exhibit Hall in downtown Jamestown.
