Michael J. Tramuta
Michael J. Tramuta was born December 2, 1941 in Dunkirk, New York. He is a 1960 graduate of Cardinal Mindsdzenty High School in Dunkirk and a 1965 graduate of SUNY Fredonia.
Mike attended Dunkirk High School from 1956-1959. He lettered in football, basketball, baseball and track as a sophomore and junior. He transferred to Cardinal Mindszenty for his senior year.
At Mindszenty, Tramuta competed in cross-country, basketball, track and baseball. He set a school record in cross country and was named to the All-Catholic team. In basketball, Mike averaged 14 points and 15 assists per game and was chosen as a First Team All-Star of the Bishop Smith League. He led his team to the Bishop Smith League track title establishing school records in the quarter, half and mile runs.
He played four years of basketball at Fredonia State averaging 13.5 points and 14 assists per game.
