Parke H. Davis Gives Radio Football Talk

Football will put on a new stunt this fall. The season will be opened next Wednesday night by a formal address over the radio to the players of the United States. Parke H. Davis has been selected to make the speech and station WJZ of the Radio Corporation of America will disseminate the address. The speech will be put on the air at 7:40 p. m. Eastern Standard Time. At this hour the football players of more than 1000 college and school teams will be assembled in their training quarters to hear the address. Mr. Davis will devote himself principally to impressing the players with their responsibility to keep the sport on the highest plane of chivalry. Mr. Davis is a former Jamestown man and is well known in this city and vicinity.

The additional financial assistance of the community is critical to the success of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame.
We gratefully acknowledge these individuals and organizations for their generous support.
