Till, Moore and Hunter New Additions to FSUC Athletic Hall of Fame

The names of the three 1988 inductees into the State University of New York at Fredonia Athletic Hall of Fame have been released by Dr. Patrick R. Damore, presiding chairperson.

The athletes include: Gail D. Hunter of Seattle, Wash., attorney at Schweppe, Krug & Townsend; Neil Moore of Zebulon, N.C., chemist at Glaxo, Inc.; and Dale Till of Sinclairville, teacher at Cassadaga Valley Central School.

Dale Till (Class of 1958) was a member of the varsity baseball team and earned four varsity letters. After 33 years, he still holds the record for: Most Home Runs in a Single Game; Most Total Bases in a Single Game; and Most RBIs in a Single Season. He also earned two varsity basketball letters at Fredonia State. He is currently the coach of the Blue Devil baseball team, a position he has held since 1980.

The additional financial assistance of the community is critical to the success of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame.
We gratefully acknowledge these individuals and organizations for their generous support.
