Trevor Hitchcock
A three-sport all-star in high school, an All-American in college and a respected coach and official – those impressive credentials led to a place in the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame’s Wall of Honor for 2026 inductee Trevor Hitchcock.
A 1991 graduate of Falconer Central School, Hitchcock excelled in three sports for the Golden Falcons: football, basketball and track & field. At 6-foot-4, 225-pounds, Hitchcock used his size, strength and agility to become a Post-Journal First Team All-Star in all three sports. Also an exceptional student and respected leader, he was selected for the 1990 American Legion Boys’ State program.
In 1989, 1990 and 1991, Trevor won both the Division II discus and shot put throws at the Chautauqua County Track & Field Championships. He was also the Section 6 discus champ in ‘90 and ‘91 and as a result qualified for the New York State Championships. He finished 6th in the state for the discus in 1990 and improved to 5th place in 1991.
